Short career outline
Simon Roodhouse was until recently Professor in Creative Industries at the University of the Arts, London, and is Adjunct Professor of Creative Industries, University of Technology, Sydney, Visiting Professor, National Institute of Work Based Learning, Middlesex University, and Director of Safe Hands (Management) Ltd a strategic consultancy engaged in education and cultural industries. Previously he has been Adjunct Professor at CIRAC, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia; Visiting Professor Creative Industries, the University of Bolton, and the University of Central England.
In addition he was the Chief Executive of the University Vocational Awards Council, a consortium of HEIs and FECs dedicated to championing higher level vocational learning.
