Short career outline
Chris Green is an Arts Consultant based in London and Herefordshire. A former Popular Events Director of the City of London Festival (1978-1991), Director of The Poetry Society (1989-1993) and CEO of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers & Authors (BASCA 1998-2008) he is currently artistic adviser to London Songwriters Week, Artistic Director of ARTMUSFAIR Glasgow 2009 and Chair of the Learning Skills Foundation Advisory Committee. And a trustee of the Courtyard Arts Centre in Hereford. A former Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate, he is an adviser to Lib Dem Shadow Culture Secretary Don Foster MP and President of the Hereford Liberal Democrats.
