A.I. Members, Li Yan, leads the Aayyaa Circus Project. Its aim is to create an innovative circus in London that blends various circus traditions, particularly Chiencese, with poetry and science. Its activities have included (1) The Lantern Parade - (At Winter Wonder in Wimbledon, 2001), (2) Poetic Genes (poetry workshops, 2001/02), (3) Fun Calligraphy for Families (British Museum - April and May 2002), (4) The Juggling Tea Party for the Spirit of Friendship (Merton, June 2002) and (5) The Dragon Parade, a celebration of all river cultures (Merton Abbey Mills, July, 2002).
