Timothy Mason was the consultant for the Turner Centre, a major new art gallery in the south-east of Great Britain that celebrates the artist J.M.W. Turner’s long association with the seaside town of Margate. This development was awarded a £4.1. lottery grant and provides an exhibition centre for contemporary art and visual art forms that relate to Turner, his themes and his legacy.
